SFBT: Controlled Outcome Studies
Gingerich and Eisengart have located 18 controlled outcome studies of SFBT reported in the literature through Summer, 2001. All studies meet the following inclusion criteria: (1) implemented solution-focused brief therapy, (2) employed some form of experimental control, (3) assessed client behavior or functioning, and (4) assessed outcomes at end-of-treatment or follow-up. They have build three categories: Strong Studies, Moderate Studies and Weak Studies. In this categories the studies and their characteristics are described.
